FORMULA No (1) “APAAMARGA TNYLAMU”
For treatment of deafness

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
COLLECT WHOLE PLANT INCLUDING ROOTS OF ACYRANTHES ASPERA AND ALLOW (81 PAGES)

The plant to DRYFULLY, later make ASH of whole plant.  To this powder  add water and allow it  to remain in earthen vessel as it is for whole night, mix well and filter to this filtrate add SEASAME OIL and cook to make the solution UNIFORMILY ONLY and preserve in a bottle.

For cure of TINNITUS AND DEAF NESS PUT 5 drops 3 times daily till deafness to cured; or as directed by the physician.

FORMULA No. (2) “BILWATHYLAM”
At page 337 of Vol. 2 of Yogarathnaakaram for cure of deafness
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED : COLLECT

1. TENDER FRUITS OF AEGLE MARMELOS (615)

Grind them with cow’s URINE, to this add 4 times extra volume GINGILLY OIL (437) and 4 time extra volume to the oil GOATS MILK, and to this whole volume pure water  cook till only oily solution remains.  Administer these oily drops in ears as above till deafness is cured.

CHETWAARI THYLANI : For defness
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :

1. KAANJIKAMU
2. FRUIT JUICE OF CITRVS MEDICA (608)
3. HONEY
4. COW’S URINE
5. GINGILLY OIL (439) = SEASAME OIL

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

Take equal quantities of above all ingredients mix cook till only preparation remains

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :

1. HONEY FRESH ZINGER JUICE
2. PURE JUICE OF ROOTS OF MORINGA PTERYGOSPERMA (629)
3. JUICE OF MUSA SAPIENTUM (35)
4. GINGILLY OIL (439)

METHOD OF PREPARATION :
Take equal quantities and cook till they become as uniformly oily preparation.
OR
FORMULA No. (5)
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :

1. ZINGIBER OFFICIANALE (758)
2. ZANTHOX ULUM ALATUM (344)
3. FERULA ASSAFOETIBA (67)

EMTHOD OF PREPARATION :
Take paste of above 3 ingredients, to this add
4)  (4) TIMES GINGILLY OIL (439) to this add
5)  (4) TIMES WATER, mix them cook to make an oily preparation.
OR

FORMULA No. (6)
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :

1. AEGLE MARMELOS FRUITS (615) PULP to this add GINAILLY, OIL (439) to this add two volume of GOAT’S MILK, and 2 volumes GOAT’S URINE.  Mix all and cook till it becomes uniformly oily preparation.

USAGE :
All of the above oily preparation need to be used as 2 drops in ears  for cure of deafness.
